Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about buying pre-owned luxury watches from Luxury Chrono Pieces.

How do I buy a watch - is there a checkout?
There is no checkout on this website and no payment is taken here. You send an enquiry about a specific watch using the enquiry form on its page, and a member of our team replies to confirm the watch is still available, agree the final price, and arrange delivery with you directly. We will never ask you for card numbers, bank details, or cryptocurrency payments through a form on this site.
How do you check the watches you sell?
Our own team examines each watch before it is listed. We record the reference and serial as they appear on the piece, run and time the movement over several days, and examine the case, dial, hands, crystal, bezel, crown and bracelet under magnification. What we find is written up in a condition report that goes with the watch. We are not an authentication service: we do not issue certificates of authenticity and we do not speak for any manufacturer. If you want an independent opinion before you buy, tell us and we will hold the watch while you arrange one.
What condition are the watches in?
All watches are pre-owned and may show signs of previous wear. We photograph each piece as it actually is and describe wear in the listing and in the condition report. If a specific detail matters to you, ask us before buying and we will check it and tell you what we find.
Why are your prices lower than retail?
We buy on the secondary market - from private sellers, estate sales, client trade-ins and established pre-owned dealers - and we run a small operation with low overheads. We are not an authorised dealer and we do not receive stock from manufacturers.
Are these watches genuine originals?
Every watch we list is sold as a genuine timepiece from the manufacturer named in the listing, and is covered by our 14-day money-back guarantee if it turns out not to be as described. We are an independent pre-owned reseller with no affiliation to any watch manufacturer.
How long does shipping take?
Standard insured shipping takes 7-12 business days and is free on all orders. Express shipping (DHL/FedEx) is available for an additional fee and typically arrives within 3-5 business days. All packages are fully insured, discreetly packaged, and include end-to-end tracking.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Every timepiece comes with a 1-year Luxury Chrono Pieces warranty - our own warranty, not a manufacturer warranty - covering movement defects and material failures. Warranty service includes repair or replacement at our discretion.
How do I pay?
Payment is arranged directly with our team once you have enquired and we have confirmed availability, never through this website. If you ever receive a message claiming to be from us that asks you to send money to a cryptocurrency wallet or an unfamiliar account, do not act on it - contact us at support@luxurychronospieces.com to verify first.
Can I return or exchange a watch?
Yes. We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of delivery. Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with all documentation and original packaging. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
Do the watches come with original box and papers?
Sometimes. Where a watch comes with its original box, papers, warranty card or hangtags, this is stated in that watch's listing. Many pre-owned watches do not have them. Watches without original documentation still come with our condition report and our 1-year warranty.
How should I care for my pre-owned luxury watch?
Store your watch in a dry place or watch box when not in use. For automatic movements, wear daily or use a quality watch winder. Avoid exposure to strong magnetic fields, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. We recommend professional servicing every 3-5 years.
